On September 7, 2022, the China-Europe-Africa(CEA) Green Energy Development Forum with the theme of 

“Fighting climate change and promoting the common development of green energy” was launched in Hangzhou.

On the opening ceremony, the former French prime minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin,

former Irish premier, world carbon neutral committee chairman, Bertie Ahern made video speech. 

China's Climate Change Envoy Xie Shengwen, South African ambassador, former finance vice minister Zhu Guangyao and many other leaders made speech.

The forum, hosted by the China European Union Association and  Zhejiang People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries,

aims to exchange experience in CEA cooperation in the field of new energy,

promote high-quality development in the carbon neutral era, and help build a CEA green energy development community.

More than 100 representatives from China and Europe and Africa attended the forum online or offline.

Mr. Chen Rong, chairman of Zhonglu Co.,Ltd.(Forever Bicycle’s parent company),

attended and delivered a speech with the theme of "Opportunities of High-Altitude Wind Power in CEA Green Energy Cooperation".

“As a developing country, China is an active promoter of, and a consistent practitioner of the Paris Agreement.

 China, Europe and Africa have many consensus on addressing climate change and promoting green development, and have potential for multifaceted cooperation.”
